After spending months receiving critical medical care after surgery, the second child of twins, AmieLynn Finley is finally going home to join her sister JamieLynn Finley, who was discharged from Cook’s Children’s Medical Center earlier this last month.

The sisters were surgically separated in January by a team of plastic surgeons, nurses, neonatologists, in one of the most complicated — and lengthy — surgeries the hospital’s pediatric department had seen. The omphalopagus pair was connected at the chest and shared a liver.
