Its time to build a ultra high ground clearance rear suspension! We finished up the flush shocks in the previous video, now its time to tackle the lower control arms. Ive been more than happy with the setup currently, it drives really nice on the road, made the axle and long arm swap very simple, but its time to set this up for a little more offroad use!
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
This setup is for a long arm 3 link rear
Moving brackets up will reduce separation from the upper mount, make sure you at least keep 9"+, in my case with the 14bolt and high 3 link upper mount i still have around 11.75" of separation. So make sure you have a tall 3 link truss mount.
2 door body mounts will need to be reinforced, on a 4 door the cut mount is an extra added to the 4 door (we can still gusset it up for more strength).
If you raise both brackets up with the OHF brackets, they will both move up equally around 2.5".

This setup from Outta Hand Fab is designed for a high offroad clearance long arm rear suspension on a JK and they are soon coming out with a new rear shock/control arm combo mount. We will soon test this out on the trails to see how the new long arm suspension works out on the JKU!
