PULASKI DAYS 2021: Looking for something to do this weekend? The annual Pulaski Days celebration returns Oct. 1-3 to the west side of Grand Rapids with several events, including a parade (Oct. 2), Kielbasa eating contest, a Polka Mass (Oct. 3) and more than six halls offering a slew of activities, and food.

On this Podcast, digital journalist John Gonzalez explores a special program taking place Monday, Sept. 27, at the Guest House (Fourth and Stocking), which features a panel of speakers whose goal is to collect history through stories. John talks to Ed Sypniewski, a local event promoter, as well as Dale Robertson of the Grand Rapids Public Museum and Tony Baker, a sociology professor at Ferris State University about the special event.
