I have compiled the 1st nesting of Japanese Tit that I observed in 2022 into one video.
The first nesting was so eventful, with the single parenting, the takeover of the nest box, and the attempted takeover, that it was all I could do to summarize it all in one hour. I hope you will watch it to the end, even though it is long.

Reviewing the nesting again, I think this (probably) young mother has done well to overcome the severe ordeal. I just applaud her....

8:19 May 1 Coal Tit breaks into the nest box and remodels it very quickly
15:38 May 5 The 8th egg is laid, and the incubation begins
18:54 May 18 The egg hatches on the 14th day of incubation
23:56 May 18 The father suddenly stops coming to the nest box
29:58 May 21 4th day after hatching, 2 chicks stop moving
35:25 May 24 Day 7 after hatching, the number of chicks decreases to 2
37:03 May 25 8th day after hatching A new male comes to the nest box but does not help
39:01 May 27 10th day after hatching, mother's single parenting becomes more stable.
43:38 May 29 12th day after hatching, the mother stops sleeping in the nest box.
52:23 Jun 4 18 days after hatching, the chicks finally emerge from the nest hole.
56:33 Jun 5, 19 days after hatching, the chicks leave the nest.

Last year's nesting and rearing of the chicks was nothing short of spectacular.
