Harley-Davidson puts about the minimal of effort into staying up and slightly ahead of the competition as possible. Although why would Harley-Davidson drastically change the formula when the bikes are still selling. Harley-Davidson has never really been majorly innovative until here in recent years, but as Harley-Davidson has begun to update and modernize their motorcycles they don't exactly blow the competition away. Victory helped push Harley-Davidson in the direction but Indian really got Harley-Davidson moving. Well moving just far enough ahead to offer a little more standard compared to the competition.
