To celebrate the Center for Action and Contemplation’s (CAC) 35th Anniversary year, we will be releasing a series of archival recordings of Richard Rohr from the early days of our founding. This recording is from a talk given by Richard in 1987.

In this talk Father Richard discusses prophets, poverty, and the spiritual call of the kingdom. "It's only powerlessness, which doesn't just change the actors, but changes the very nature in which a power is exercised, in which life is handed back and forth. And that's I believe the new creation, the new social order, the kingdom that is forever coming, not based on competition, on domination, on I'm first, I'm better, but free and cooperative, social relationships of brotherhood and sisterhood."
