The Protection of Civilians (PoC) Course is one of the flagship courses of the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC). Funded by the Swiss Government, one key aim of the course is to enhance the capacity of participants to effectively implement Protection of Civilian mandates in peacekeeping operations, in order to mitigate the effects of conflicts on civilians.
