Their reliance on imports and the lack of sufficient dollars coming in have led to several balance of payment crises over the years. Additionally, the influence of the military on Pakistani #politics and the economy, which has resulted in a lack of transparency and accountability in decision-making processes, further exacerbates the economic crises.
