Caracas Futbol Club is the most successful club in Venezuelan history with 12 league titles, and former head coach Noel Sanvicente is the most successful manager with eight league titles, six with Caracas. In December 2019, they won their first league title in 10 years, beating arch rivals Deportivo Táchira in the Clausura Final, but within months COVID had gripped the world and fans were banished. Despite this, their barra still turned up to the stadium on gameday, tied up their trapos and tifos, and then stood outside singing their songs and beating their drums all game long. We were there for their explosive return in October 2021. In Venezuela, it is a club like no other.
