This is The Best Yellow Jacket trap design I could find commercially available. Buy the trap, not their bait. Homemade wasp baits are the best.

The same trap design works well for me all year, but I do change the bait and method in the fall as I explain in this video.

I've used bag traps, and other plastic trap designs and I always end up going back to this one. Easy to load with bait, wasps go in readily and it sits well on any flat surface, or you can hang it.
