This is a Original Trailer that came from a 35mm film role That has been hidden for almost 40 years. This has been scanned in and digital cleaned up by removing every grain/hair And scratches. Even the sound has been cleaned up. There is some damage that i have decided to leave on, It's mostly on the sides, since this was made from the 80s. I've only adjusted some Contrast and a little highlight on the film, and gain some of the color back. I also had to zoom in a little to fit the size Because there was no need for to have black bars. And now you get to experience The best version of a teaser trailer of DUNE.

It's possible That they made the teaser trailer with 16mm Due to cost, and then mass produced them onto 35mm, most movie theaters could only show 35mm films, It's probably why This version looks a little muddy and a little unfocused When they were doing mass printing of them, The teaser trailer were not meant to be best quality. They're just meant to show quickly in movie theaters,

When this trailer was shown In the movie theaters, David Lynch was still Working on the film, Which is why some effects weren't finished yet and some sounds Don't sound right If you were wondering, This was normal for many films back in the days,

it Is one of the reasons why newer trailers came to show the finished product, And also to get people excited to go to the movie theaters.
