As we reach the end of a year which has challenged the entire world, it's more important than ever to celebrate what we've achieved in the face of adversity. Against all odds, we've had an incredible year in 2020, hitting headlines internationally month after month and achieving more and more technical firsts.

We helped to #passthepod by launching That Peter Crouch Podcast into space, put Boots on the Mooooo'n for Ben and Jerry's and Netflix, lit up the sky with Unilite's powerful work light, sent food fanatics wild with a chicken nugget in space for Iceland, shared 200 portraits of humanity with the universe, made the first ever smoothie in space to prove how portable Blendjet really is, and took some stunning photos of the Earth from space with the world's smallest and lightest full-frame camera, the SIGMA fp. These are just a few of over 100 launches we conducted this year.

While this year has taught us that nothing is certain, we're excited for 2021 and confident we can face whatever it throws at us. Thanks for watching, and subscribe to follow our journey as we take on the challenges of a New Year and create even more incredible videos of our planet and the space beyond it.

Sent Into Space are the Near Space experts.

We use lighter-than-air gas balloons to travel to the upper stratosphere into Near Space, where you can see the curvature of the Earth (Flat Earth believers need not reply!), the black vacuum of space and the thin blue line of the Earth's atmosphere on the horizon.

This is more than just a GoPro on a weather balloon. We build a bespoke launch vehicle for each flight utilising the latest in camera technology and long-range radio and satellite communications. We film HD video of the Earth from space for stunning images of the curvature of the Earth.

With over 500 successful flights over the last 8 years, we're the only company to go to when you want to launch something into space. To find out more, visit https://www.sentintospace.com
