Independent suspension vehicles offer dramatic benefits for high speed vehicle handling and daily driving road duties, but can become a bit of a hinderance on off road terrain as you approach more and more difficult obstacles. Independent front suspension vehicles do not flex and articulate as well as vehicles with a solid front axle, and generally have smaller and more fragile front end components that must be taken into consideration when tackling difficult terrain.

In this video we take a look at ten tips for off road driving with an independent front suspension, simple things that we have learned. along the way through our own experiences and over the past few decades working closely with desert racing teams, off road competitors, and special operations personnel operating low-viz SUVs and pickup trucks around the globe.
