#nodejs is the runtime environment for JavaScript.

it is written in C++ Embedded with Google's V8 (javaScript Engine)
Node take care of asynchronous things while v8 executes code which is synchronous
#nodejs is open source and cross platform hence we can run #javascript anywhere else instead of just browser which makes #nodejs beautifull
