I made this Nixie clock a few years ago and never quite got it finished, i was a bit too exited about using it! it had a few issues to resolve which i show briefly in this video.
The Geiger counter was a british contamination meter number 1 and the clock was a kit from www.pvelectronics.co.uk and uses IN-8 nixie tubes.
Nixie tubes are neon digital displays used in analogue electronics and were used in nuclear power stations like Chernobyl and military uses mostly in soviet Russia because they are not effected by EMP or radiation.
I thought a Geiger counter Nixie clock would be really cool and a perfect match for each other.
