Triathletes who have a swimming background and don’t do adequate strength training prior to triathlon often struggle with stress fractures and other bone stress related injuries from getting into running without good BMD.

Doing proper strength training with swimmers sets them up for good bone health, mobility, movement patterns, and joint health throughout their life.

These are just a few exercises that are important for swimming strength and conditioning. Be sure to follow a structured program and progress from week to week.
