Solo Last Wish Red Border Farm / Solo Kalli Last Wish Raid Destiny 2

Just a video showing a quick solo Kalli clear during the first week of Season 22 of Destiny 2. This is probably the easiest solo raid boss challenge currently in the game, and a great starting point for anyone looking to get into solo raid encounters. During the first week of Season of the Witch, Last Wish is the featured raid, and so the Kalli encounter is farmable for deepsight last wish weapons, including the apex predator, one of the best weapons in the game. Normally, you would want a full team of six to farm for these weapons, but due to this being a comparatively easy solo on warlock, this is a consistent, albeit slower, method for farming last wish red borders solo. Note that relaunching the encounter immediately after getting the rewards allows you to keep the checkpoint, removing the need for running the entrance before Kalli on each run.

As always with solo farms in this game, it's always more efficient and consistent to run this farm with a full team. However, for any solo players looking to obtain some of these weapon patterns, this is actually a pretty decent method. I hadn't bothered to farm for the apex predator pattern yet, and I would prefer not to LFG, so I've been running this method a lot myself. It's surprisingly consistent once you nail the relatively simple strategy, even if it may seem a bit unreliable at first.

Note that the clear in this video features a total of 3 dreaming city damage buff mods, one Riven's curse and two transcendent blessings. You CAN solo this encounter with no mods, but it's a decent bit more inconsistent on the damage. I would recommend at minimum grabbing the offering to the oracle bounty from Petra in the dreaming city, completing that, and then completing the purification ritual bounty from the oracle for a transcendent blessing mod. I found that one mod helped, but that having at least 3 makes it VERY repeatable. Note that a Riven's curse mod and a transcendent blessing mod are effectively equal here, as nothing here is lethal enough to kill you even with 5 of these mods on, so put on as many armor pieces with dreaming city mods as possible.

If you're struggling with getting this strategy to work, I would recommend making sure that you throw a decent amount of your grenades AT kalli as well as at the ground around her, rather than just spamming your grenades at the ground. It seems that the lava blobs do more consistent damage this way. Also, if you're having issues with thrall spawns, note that stepping on the plate is how you spawn thrall. Make sure that you aren't staying on the plate too long though, as this also progresses the plate, and will eventually spawn a knight and be unable to spawn more thrall. If you find yourself dying to the plate, try to always stand on the non-taken parts of the plate to stay safe from the explosions. The way that I'm getting so much tractor cannon ammo is with the taken armaments mod, which is obtainable solo by opening the 2 secret chests in the raid on all characters, or until you get lucky.
