UPDATED NOTE (Per comments - recommend reading): it seems Sony may have tried to identify these batteries with a firmware update and discourage use by no longer displaying the power percentage left. That's in really bad faith and really poor taste on Sony's part IMO, namely because their battery pricing and proprietary chargers operate under an extortion-like business model. In this case, SmallRig has out-innovated them, but rather than level up and compete, Sony has resorted to back handed tactics like this. Shame on you Sony. UPGRADE FIRMWARE ON YOUR CAMERA AT YOUR OWN RISK IF YOU BUY THIS BATTERY. Sony is out to get you. I have not and will not upgrade the firmware on mine, and these batteries work fantastic.

Aside from that, this is one of those videos that I actually wasn’t going to make, because its kind of boring, but I’ve just found the product so useful in the real world and so much cheaper and better than the alternative that I just had to share!
