The lid latch mechanism was forced open and this resulted in a tiny plastic piece breaking which prevented the machine from working. I removed the lid latch and opened it, discovered the broken piece and used epoxy adhesive to repair the mechanism, reinstalled it and tested. Was very happy to now have a working machine again
