Learn how to buy non-KYC Bitcoin:

In this video, I discuss how monetary systems always scale in layers, using gold, US dollars, and Bitcoin as examples.

The base layer is used to settle larger transactions that require strong final settlement guarantees, while higher layers handle most of the daily economic activity.

Higher layers are batched and netted out, with the net result being periodically settled on the base layer. This ensures less congestion at the base layer, while keeping the blockchain small enough that anyone can run a node and verify that the consensus rules of the system are being followed.

Bitcoin will scale using custodial, semi-custodial, and non-custodial solutions that include large tech companies, big banks, Lightning Network, fedimints, and other innovations.
