We drive the facelift Mercedes-AMG E53 and see what this sporty coupe is like to drive.

One of the most interesting Mercedes-Benz vehicles that money can buy, the 48-volt hybrid E53 series has pace, space, and grace. In two-door form it’s slightly less practical than the lovely E53 sedan, but it’s a gorgeous car in coupe format and a serious indulgence as a convertible. But should you look closely at the AMG E53? Or does something like a BMW 8 Series make even more sense again? Or, potentially, an Audi S5 or RS5?
