McLaren set itself a pretty tough task with the development of the new 2023 McLaren 750S Coupe and Spider.

The 554kW V8-powered McLaren 750S replaces the six-year-old 720S – a pivotal model regarded by many as the dynamic benchmark of the segment – in the British supercar-maker’s Super Series line-up.

To up the ante even further, McLaren has reworked the key components of the already-lauded 720S in a bid to broaden its dynamic envelope.

As Sam Charlwood discovers at the international media launch in Portugal, the resulting McLaren 750S is undeniably impressive – notwithstanding its higher starting price of $585K.
