Tesla just rolled out their 3rd price change of 2024, and this time, another increase on the Tesla Model 3. Not only did Tesla just increase prices on the Model 3 LR, they have also been ramping up incentives over the last few days, making this the best time to buy a Tesla Model Y.

Tesla's 3rd price change of the year is a $500 increase in the Long Range AWD Model 3. The Model 3 LR will now start at $47,490, or $500 less than the Model Y LR AWD. When you consider the combination of all offers available, and inventory pricing, you can literally get a Model Y LR for over $10k less than a Model 3 LR.

Tesla has given heads up on price increases coming for FSD in the past, but they have never offered a temporary discount like this. Although prices go up and down, this time Tesla is making it very clear that this is a limited time offer.

In addition, Tesla just last week released other incentives. Until the end of the quarter, March 31st, Tesla is offering a 1 time FSD transfer when purchasing a new Tesla. You can essentially remove FSD on any existing Tesla you have, and activate that FSD license on any new Tesla.

In addition, the same offer is being made with Unlimited Free Supercharging. For those with older Tesla's, you won't have to walk away from free unlimited supercharging should you want to upgrade to a newer Tesla today. Until March 31st, that free supercharging will be transferrable to any new Tesla (excludes Cybertruck).

In addition, Tesla has sent out an offer to all Cybertruck reservation holders with an offer of an additional $1,000 off that can be combined with these other offers. And if you dont already have a Tesla, you can get FSD free for 3 months by using someone's referral code.

All these incentives keep stacking up for the quarter, which leads to a lot of interesting questions and makes one wonder what exactly is going on at Tesla. We just found out that Tesla will not be bringing the refresh Model Y (project Juniper) in 2024, so it will be some time before we start getting close to that change over for the hugely popular Model Y.
