The legacy of this hot dish has made it for 3 generations. Its a family favorite, kid friendly, and great for a freezer meal. Its super quick and easy to make and get in the oven for a weeknight meal.

Tater Tot Casserole
1 1/2 lbs ground meat
1/2 C chopped onion
salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
1 15 oz can cream of mushroom soup
shredded cheddar cheese
1- 2 lbs bag tatertots

Preheat oven to 350°. Brown ground meat and add onion, salt, pepper, and garlic to taste. Place cooked beef in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Spread the cream of mushroom soup over beef ( you may want to thin it out by adding 1/2 c milk or water. Put shredded cheese on top and top with tatertots. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
