The Ehlers-Danlos Society Global Learning Conference 2023. Effective & Efficient Medical Appointments - A Doctors Perspective by Dr. Dacre Knight.

Dr. Knight is the medical director of the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Clinic at Mayo Clinic. He holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. Dr. Knight received his master’s degree at George Mason University and his M.D. at St. George’s University. He completed residency training at the University of Mississippi. He is a general internal medicine physician with specialty interest in consultative and diagnostic medicine. His clinical focus includes expertise in chronic disease, diagnosis of unresolved illness, and providing coordinated care for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome patients. Dr. Knight leads the EDS Clinic at Mayo Clinic with the mission of promoting each patient's understanding of disease and empowering patients to reach their individual health goals by offering personalized diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
Dr. Knight is board certified in internal medicine. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Knight is active in research and education, providing mentorship to residents and medical students. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, Dr. Knight was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Saint Louis University.
