This video is a short taken in my food photography class, which is even shorter than the recipe videos usually take, so here is a text supplement for you.

Tomato sauce is used to add a little sweet and sour flavor. The riper the tomatoes, the less sour they are and the better the flavor. The video uses two tomatoes of different ripeness, so you can see the color is slightly different. 00:20 The tomatoes cut with a knife are riper and redder in color, while the tomatoes in the front left are riper, more sour and orange in color.

If you don't have homemade chicken broth, you can use commercially available canned chicken broth instead.

Recipe:
2 tomato
some Thinly sliced beef
some vegetables
1 scallion, sliced
1~2 ginger, sliced
2 garlic, sliced

600ml chicken broth
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp tomato paste
sugar, salt, sesame oil (to taste)
scallion, minced for garnish(optional)

1.Cross the bottom of the tomatoes with a knife, then boil them in boiling water for about 30 seconds(Don‘t pour out the water), wait for the temperature to drop to a temperature that will not be hot to the touch, peel and cut into pieces.

2.Boil the water in step 1, cook the beef in the pot, drain the water and set aside.

3. Sauté the onion, ginger and garlic in 1 tbsp of oil. When you smell the aroma, stir-fry the tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste.

4. Add chicken stock, season with salt, sugar and sesame oil and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

5. Add your favorite vegetables (or noodles) and cook, then add beef and green onion to decorate and enjoy!
