Sweet & Sour had a chance to test this mule in Death Valley with temperatures above 120 degrees Fahrenheit or 50 degrees celsius. While pulling a 3000lb airstream trailer, the new Atlas Cross Sport did very well. The Atlas Cross Sport is built on the same platform as the regular Atlas but the third row has been deleted, the back made a bit sportier looking but the second row seating and cargo area are massive, making this the biggest vehicle in its class. VE will bring the Atlas Cross Sport to Canada with a base 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder with 235hp and standard AWD. The US will get a base FWD version. The most popular engine is the VR6 with 276hp and standard AWD in the Canadian market. The inside features an 8-inch head unit, available digital dash and the same level of finish found in the regular Atlas.
