MCI 2005 is a biobased Corrosion Inhibiting Admixtures added to concrete at the batching plant at a low dosage of 0.6L per cubic meter. MCI molecules migrate towards the steel surface where they form a monomolecular film that protects it from corrosion. MCI 2005 is a simple cost-effective method of enhancing the durability of reinforced concrete structures and extending their service life.
