Singapore Changi is a major civilian international airport that serves Singapore, and is one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia. As one of the world's busiest airports by international passenger and cargo traffic, it is currently rated the World's Best Airport by Skytrax, the first airport in the world to do so for eight consecutive years. It has also been rated as one of the world's cleanest airports and highly rated international transit airports. More than 100 airlines operate from the airport, with nonstop or direct flights to destinations in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

I was joined by my good friend Matt from HD Melbourne Aviation for a week of plane spotting at this behemoth of an airport. I filmed this from the Crown Plaza hotel, which offers a fantastic overview of the western runway of the airport. This runway is the primary landing runway at the moment, and whilst quiet will see a few departures thrown into the mix!

This video focuses on landings that I filmed on several days, particularly in the evening when the European airlines and flights come in. Finnair was a huge highlight for me and I'm so glad to have filmed it. For me, its such an exotic airlines. Being based in Australia, the complete opposite side of the world to Finland, it's great to see the aircraft with my own eyes and catch it with my own lens!
