In the same room, there are pictures of Kaaba and pictures of Hindu deities. Shahrukh's children follow both father's and mother's religion. I don't know how it works for a true Muslim. His father is of Pathan descent from New Delhi, India. His father, Mir Taj Mohammad Khan, was an activist in the Indian independence movement. He lived in Peshawar (now Pakistan), then British India, and moved to New Delhi from Kisa Khawani Bazar in Peshawar after the partition of India in 1948.
