My Girlfriend drives 4wd RAM 1500 in snow into ditch. I was teaching her how to drive in snow showing her the difference between 2wd and 4wd lock when things when wrong. I also get her first reaction of her driving in 4x4 which she thought was awesome!


We had our first biggish snow fall of the year and I wanted to get my girlfriend some experience driving in the snow and icy conditions. So wanted her to get the feel of the truck sliding and understand how to correct if the truck starts to slide on the road. so the only way was to get her behind the wheel in 2wd and get her to start playing around in the snow and feeling out my RAM 1500.

once she got a handle on how the truck slides and how fast she could take a corner without the back end sliding out I thought we could try 4wd lock and get her reaction to 4wd. so we did that and of course when the camera was put away she came into a corner a little too hot and put the truck into the ditch.

It was a good learning experience but overall she drove very well and she'll have plenty of time to learn how to drive in the snow all winter!
