Jan Pauly bought a nearly 500-year-old half-timbered house for just 7,000 Euros. The historic house was completely dilapidated. Floors, walls, ceilings - everything had to be renewed. The former event manager set to work - and it took a little longer than first thought. But today, after nine years of renovation by his own hand, Jan's house is finished.
