CEAD, developer of large-scale 3D printers based in Delft, offers various solutions including the AM Flexbot. With this system you can not only 3D print objects but there is also the option to mill. The system has besides the 3D printing technology of CEAD, Siemens' Sinumerik CNC with Run my Robot/Direct Control and a Comau robot arm.

Through the cooperation of Comau and Siemens, the Sinumerik Run MyRobot/Direct Control solution fully integrates the robot kinematics into the CNC system. This allows the required precision in the complex robot motion to be achieved, enabling not only the correct material deposition, but also the milling of the part to a final contour.

The standard system comes with a print bed surface area of 2x1 metre, but expansion is possible by placing the robot on a track as shown in this video.
