Happy 45th, Garfield! Too bad I wasn’t able to post this on your birthDAY (June 18th), but at least I was able to upload it in time for your birth MONTH.

For season 6 of Garfield and Friends, the show’s iconic “We’re Ready To Party” intro, used season 3, was modified a little bit to include clips from some more recent episodes of the series instead of just installments from seasons 1 and 2.

In 2018, when 9Story Media “remastered” the series to 4K, they also unveiled a completely new version of the “We’re Ready To Party”, featuring both the animation of Garfield putting on the theme song and the closing shot from their reanimated version of the “Friends Are There” intro, and a mostly different set of episode clips from the ones used in the original takes on the “We’re Ready To Party” intro. This version of the intro can be found on 9Story’s masters of not just seasons 3-6, but also the final season, season 7, plastering the infamous “Garfield Rap” intro from the original prints of that season (just like how the season 6 intro replaced that other opening on the non-U.S. prints seen on 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s DVD releases of the show).

Fuck. (YouTube Kids repellent)
