Watch a full tutorial as a Subaru Impreza WRX will have a new double din Pioneer radio installed. This radio includes Apple Carplay and Android Auto for smartphone connectivity. We will be installing this in the factory location while retaining the steering wheel volume controls.

This video applies to Subaru Impreza models for years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and WRX / STI models for years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. This video also includes complete radio wiring, complete installation, and testing.

ASWC-1 Wiring Details:
*Connect the Black and White/Green wires
of the ASWC-1, and the wire in Pin 14 of
the vehicle’s radio harness shown, to
Chassis Ground.
*Connect the Red wire of the ASWC-1 to 12v
accessory power.
*Connect the Gray/Red wire of the ASWC-1
to the wire in Pin 4 of the vehicle’s radio
harness shown.
*Connect the 3.5mm jack to the SWC input on the
back of the radio. If the radio does not have a
3.5mm built in, please refer to Page 2 for wiring
instructions for the Axxess 2 wire adapter.
