Reclaimed audio put up an informal challenge to re-purpose a hard case from a power tool. I had a problem that this could solve - cam straps. I use these for securing kayaks to my roof rack, and putting them away neatly is a giant pain. I modified this box to help me roll them up and store them neatly. This is a proof of concept and I hope to make a nicer, improved version of this in the future.
