Liv and Maddie Cast Epic Auditions You Can't Miss! When you think of Liv and Maddie, you probably think of the iconic theme song, Better In Stereo. Or you think of the amazing Liv and Maddie actors, all of whom have some crazy audition stories. Liv and Maddie auditions were initially for another show, called Bits and Pieces. Liv and Maddie weren’t even characters yet, and there weren’t supposed to be any twins involved. Disney Channel quickly realized that the show wasn’t going to work, and they changed the concept even after all the actors were cast. Joey Bragg, who pays one of the brothers alongside Tenzing Norgay Trainor, said that the original concept was a sketch show for children. When they changed it, Dove Cameron, who plays both Liv and Maddie, and whom you might’ve seen in Disney’s Descendants, wasn’t sure whether she’d be able to play twins. Luckily, she ended up agreeing to the roles and absolutely crushed it.
