Tesla doesn't like to play it safe, and the brand-new 2025 Model 3 shows that. While this complete redesign offers a stunning new look, it also promises big gains in range, power, and price.

The 2025 Model 3 loses its familiar shape in favor of a sharper, more future look. Leaks show that it will have a lower, wider stance and a steeply sloping top that looks like the famous Tesla Model S. It is said that Tesla got rid of the door handles and put in a touch-sensitive pad system instead, which makes the car look better. The front end will be totally redesigned, with adaptive LED headlights that look good and a charging port that might be hidden to make the whole thing look better. Tesla might even add solar panels to the roof of the car as an option to make it even more environmentally friendly. There are also reports that the car will have flush-mounted wheels to make it more aerodynamic and a panoramic glass roof to make the inside feel bigger.

The base Model 3 will probably still have rear-wheel drive, but an upgraded electric motor will give it a lot more speed. A time from 0 to 60 mph is said to be in the low 5-second range. The long-awaited return of the Performance model is almost certain to happen. This top-of-the-line model is likely to have two motors that together produce more than 500 horsepower and a lightning-fast time from 0 to 60 mph in the high three-second range. The Performance trim is said to have both rear-wheel drive and a new all-wheel-drive choice. There is a lot of doubt about the power pack. Even though there aren't many public details, rumors point to a big jump in range. The base model might be able to go up to 350 miles on a single charge, while the Performance model might give up some range to get more power.

Tesla has a history of making electric cars easier for more people to get, and the 2025 Model 3 looks like it will continue that trend. Early sources say that the starting price could be a little less than the current $41,380. This would make it even more competitive in the market for electric vehicles, which is growing. While there isn't an official release date yet, sources say it will happen in late 2024 and start shipping in early 2025. Pre-orders should start soon after the official reveal, so check back for details from Tesla.
