The team of flightenthusiasts at Bay Zoltan Nonprofit Ltd., a state-owned applied researchinstitute in Hungary, has taken the concept of a personal flight tricopter fromthe drawing board to its first manned flight at Miskolc Airfield in northeast Hungary on March 7, 2015.

Pro Golfer Bubba Watson, Oakley and Martin Aircraft have teamed up to create the Golf Cart Jetpack.The humble golf cart is not very slick, but it gets the job done. So is there a better way to get from tee to green? In 2013, pro golfer Bubba Watson, along with Oakley and Neoteric Hovercraft, posed this question with a Golf Cart Hovercraft. Now, with the help of Martin Aircraft, the team has taken to the skies with the Golf Cart Jetpack.

Based on Martin's current pre-production prototypes, the Golf Cart Jetpack can fly as high as 3,000 feet (914 m) and as fast as 46 mph (74km/h), thanks to a 210 horsepower engine powering two ducted fans. So basically, it's a standard Martin Jetpack with some extra space for clubs and sand bottles. As fun as it would be to get a bird's eye view of the course and watch your golf buddies' shots from on high, practical onsiderations might keep this concept on the ground.

● 4. Gravity Industries Jet Suit
Richard Browning is a British inventor of a "jet suit". He is the founder and chief test pilot of Gravity Industries, a company that designs and builds his invention.

Browning received initial investment and launched the company Gravity Industries in April 2017 together with WIRED magazine and Red Bull. Public demonstrations of the invention included over 100 flight events across 33 countries. He was referred to as a "real-life Iron Man” by several media outlets.

Gravity Industries was recognized by Guinness World Record for the fastest flight in a body-controlled jet suit in November 2019 at 85mph (135kmph).

Gravity Industries received a $640,000 investment from Tim and Adam Draper in San Francisco after the first public demonstration outside Adam’s ‘Boost VC’ firm.Gravity Industries is now a permanent team of seven based in Salisbury, UK and has a support network around the world.

The company business model includes TV & media work, commercial events & displays, brand collaborations, STEM initiatives, and public flight training & flight experiences in the UK and US. Gravity also has a wide range of partnerships with the UK, the US and European militaries, and a range of search & rescue organizations.

● 5. Flyboard Air - ZAPATA
Flyboard Air is a type of jetpack/hoverboard powered by gas turbines.

It was invented by French water-craft rider Franky Zapata, founder of Zapata racing.Zapata's company, Z-AIR, had received a €1.3 million grant from the French military. However, he has said that the flyboard was not yet ready for military use due to the noise it creates and the challenge of learning how to fly the device. In a France Inter radio interview, France's Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly said the flyboard might eventually be suitable, "for example as a flying logistical platform or, indeed, as an assault platform".
