Editing Journey:

A Quiet Place is one of those films that was not meant to do well in box office but it went beyond great, now its a franchise. As the 3rd installment approaches to drop this year, I wanted to share my concept of A Quiet Place 3 through dream trailer. Since we already get the idea from the title that the plot will be about “Day One”, its exciting because that opens up an opportunity to show events before everything happened. The challenge was finding clips for Jon Krasinsky, good thing the clips from Jack Ryan was enough.

I begin by showing our main character Evelyn, and made her talk, hinting the first time the Death Angels came to earth. Since it was not mentioned in the film, I figured it would be in a form of an object falling from the sky so I used clips from GREENLAND to show this. This is the reference from the Bible, how evil angels fell from the sky to connect with the Death Angels creatures. Then suddenly there was a mysterious object, that fell from the sky. No one knew what it was. Until it was too late. Then using lines from BREACH film discussing what this creature could be I added to the idea that this is an origin film since the characters are still not sure what the creatures are yet. Then end with the line “our silence is our strength” since this is the weakness of the creatures.
