While the video looks like it from late 70's/early 80's the song Chum Chum Nachdi Phiran was actually released in 1990 off the album of the same name.

The song was released on vinyl, cassette and compact disc.

A year later Asha Bhosle starting working on crossover mainstream projects collaborating with UK's Boy George. Alaap would come out with a "Best of" album in the same year.
