Check out this new video serendipitously caught on camera Thursday evening.
A viewer called Iowa's News Now saying they saw a gorgeous meteorite flash through the sky near Swisher around 10:22 p.m. Thursday and asked if we saw it on our skycams.
There's only one problem -- our skycams run on a live feed and only record about 30 seconds every five minutes or so.
But we got lucky! Iowa's News Now's WeatherFirst team did some poking around and found our skycam from Dubuque caught that six-second moment at the exact right time!
