In dieser Drift Car Build Episode stellt uns Stefan Pfister seinen Veemer vor, so werden Volvos genannt die mit BMW Motoren umgebaut sind. In seinem Fall bekam der Volvo 240 GL nicht weniger als den legendären S50B30 Motor aus dem E36. Dieser war noch in seinem alten E30 Wagen verbaut.

Den Wagen sah er in Bourbonnais an einem Trackday, nach einem Motorschaden kaufte Stefan ihn Wüdi von den Chickenhill drifters ab. Nach einem Volvo 16V Swap und unzähligen geschrotteten Getrieben war für Stefan klar das er dem Volvo ein neues Konzept verleihen muss um langfristig damit spass zu haben. Am Ende erklärt er noch seine Idee die er nun in die Praxis umsetzt die für alle drifter mit M Motoren und Alpha / N Steuerung sehr interessant ist. Vom Krankenbett aus Konstruierte er im CAD Ansaugtrompeten die man mit einem einfachen Luftfilter montieren kann. So muss man nicht tausende von Franken in eine Carbon Airbox investieren, kann aber trotzdem mit Luftfilter fahren und so seinen Motor schützen

In today's Drift Car Build Episode, Stefan Pfister will introduce us to his Veemer, the name given to Volvos that have been modified with BMW engines. In his case, the Volvo 240 GL got no less than the legendary S50B30 engine from the E36 M3. This Engine was still installed in his old E30 car.

He had seen the car in Bourbonnais at a Trackday, after an engine failure Stefan bought it from Wüdi of the Chickenhill drifters. After a Volvo 16V swap and countless broken transmissions, it was clear to Stefan that he would have to give the Volvo a new concept in order to have fun with it in the long run. At last he explained his idea which he is now implementing in practice which is very interesting for all drifters with M engines and Alpha / N management. From the hospital bed he constructed in CAD intake trumpets that can be mounted with a simple air filter. So you do not have to invest thousands of francs in a carbon airbox, but can still drive with air filter for engine protection.
