Learn how to change the spark plugs in your Ford Expedition. You should be able to apply the spark plug removal procedure shown in this video to the 2009-2014 Ford Expedition model years with the 5.4 Triton engine.

This can be done with simple hand tools, and should only take about 2.5 hours to complete. It is a fairly easy process due to the newer Ford Motorcraft SP-509 spark plug design.

The 2004-2008 Ford Expedition model years utilized a different spark plug design which has a tenancy to break upon removal in the cylinder head.
