Pekiti Tirsia Kali Instructor Logan Lo breaks down the final showdown between Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro's The Hunted (2003) in this episode of Scenic Fights' Fight Scene Breakdown.

What makes this scene memorable among fans are the following two reasons:

1) The martial art L.T. Bonham (Tommy Lee Jones) teaches Aaron Hallam (Benicio Del Toro), and which they employ against each other, is called Sayoc Kali. It is a variation of Eskrima, the Filipino martial arts system dedicated to weapons. Sayoc Kali deals exclusively with knives in extremely close-quarter combat.

2) Tommy Lee Jones' character is based on the real life tracker and survival expert Tom Brown Jr. who was also a technical advisor on the movie. The knife used by Benicio Del Toro throughout most of the movie, is a Beck Wilderness Survival Knife, designed by Tom Brown, Jr. and constructed by David Beck
