Today I had to fix some leaks around my property which were resulting in wasted water. I fixed my anti-siphon valve on my outdoor spigot and replaced all the old hose washers around the yard with new fancy washers that will give me better water-tight seals in all my irrigation equipment.

Most people neglect both of these maintenance tasks even though they are both very easy and cheap to stay on top of, especially if you want to use (and waste) less water in the yard or garden.
