My first live cover recording of a Panjabi folk song, 'Mennu Jeth Di Jado'.
Originally a duet, sang by Kuldip Manak & Gulshan Komal from the Album 'Kadna Rumal De Gaya Ve' in 1979.

Without these legendary original Panjabi folk singers to listen to and learn from, I would not be here to share my own voice and songs. We must respect the art and talent of those that paved the way in music for us, the amazing talent they have, and the hard work they did. There is NO match.
There is much to say about Kuldip Manak, but as a female vocalist, Gulshan Komal has been a huge inspiration. It's an honour to be able to sing her song for you all. Her vocals are dangerous and I'm always listening along to her amazing sound. So much respect.
