Dr Pip Karoly is a neuroengineering researcher from the University of Melbourne. For her PhD she focused on seizure forecasting, which has resulted in the development of the Seer Epilepsy Management app. A new ‘seizure risk forecasting’ app allows people with epilepsy to monitor and manage seizures at home. It has the potential to greatly improve quality of life for millions of people around the world living with uncontrolled seizures.
