Close to 2000 top executives from seven countries attended this year's Presidents Summit. Speakers from Airbnb, Twitter, Facebook and Starbucks visited Copenhagen to deliver key talks on the topics: Entrepreneurship, Megatrends, Environment, and Digital; providing both insight and advice on how to lead in a fast-changing world.

Social media guru Randi Zuckerberg was first out on stage delivering an enthusiastic lecture on what we can learn from disruption, entrepreneurship and the importance of innovation in the tech industry. She was followed by Zev Siegl - co-founder of Starbucks - who taught us how to spark entrepreneurialism and start new and successful ventures within established organizations.

During the breaks, a great atmosphere filled the lobby with members engaged in interactions and networking both within and across countries. During the industry break the discussions were based around the implications of Speed of Change for their current organizations and industries, an extraordinary opportunity to share key learnings with network colleagues.

In a world of constant change the key to a successful business lies in taking chances and not being afraid of failure. As the digitalization of business provides endless possibilities companies must not only focus on disruptors in the market but also embrace a more entrepreneurial approach.

The structure of organizations is under attack with the majority of companies looking at ways to flatten the hierarchy and to make way for more dynamic job structures. In addition to this, we can see innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics grow in an unprecedented rate taking over what is being seen as “traditional jobs.
