Sometimes(most of the time) hunting is not about the harvest but just being in nature and sometimes just as simple as watching the sunset.
November the 11th 2023 was the fist day of Gun season here in Central Nc and the deer are in rut. The gun of choice today would be my Marlin 336 in 35 Remington. So, today I am not going to shoot unless it is a good one.

No deer today except I did see alot of wood cock flying in the cutover at dark. Still a fun few hours in the woods.
